New Pattern : "All Crossed Up"

This pattern looks complicated but its really not. This quilt sample is made from "Wild Thyme" by Caro, with an assortment of greens, redish oranges and soft blue. The green is certainly the dominant colour along with the white background. This would also look brilliant with a dark background. So why dont you give this pattern a try.

Introducing The Red Cherry Pattern Company!

Welcome... we are a modern sewing pattern design business.
Its Me - Jess, my youngest sister Sarah and our mum, Jane. We are "The Red Cherry Pattern Company". Dad is a Cherry Growing King. :-)
Sewing is in our blood, well it really had to be. Mum had 3 girls and only one missed out on the sewing gene, but she is creative in other ways ( shes a beauty therapist + make up artist -now a travel agent ) Mum opened her patchwork shop 'The Patchwork Apple', 17 years ago at home when I was 10 and Sarah was 4 1/2. It took a little while for us to get into it but we loved having the shop at home, plus mum has been sewing as long as I can remember.
Sarah was in the shop everyday until she was old enough to go to school, even still she was there alot. :-)
I started sewing young but didn't really get into it until I finished school, I went and studied Interior and Building Design, where this helped me develop my love and eye for colour. I am a very textile person, I think we all are and I knew I had to do more than just put paint colours together. That's why sewing is so wonderful.
I have a 14 month old baby girl, Jemima and I wanted to do something that didn't mean I had to go to work, Sarah just finished her long stint at working long hours at a pub and Mum just downsized her shop and moved it back home. so we were all at loose ends and just started making a few more quilts. When we got talking, Mum said why not sell the pattern to your quilts. The three of us don't follow other peoples patterns, we love making things up as we go. So hence the reason we are here doing this. Mum has the shop open only 2 days a week now but does most of the 'Sewing and Patchwork Shows' around Australia, so along with selling our patterns through the shop we are selling at the shows. So if you visit any of these coming shows, keep your eyes out for "The Patchwork Apple" and our stand within her stand. :-)
So thats us. I am generally on the computer more than the others so you are more likely to hear from me most of the time but you never know I might convince them otherwise.
Check out our facebook site for more info. well upload all our patterns here too. so if you would like to order one, please email us at redcherrypatternco@gmail.com
Until next time...happy stitching.
Jess
